The Pedestrian Shops adds a "Crocs Store" to it's downtown Boulder Location!
July 2005 - In response to the huge demand for Crocs, the Pedestrian Shops added a wing to its Boulder Colorado Pearl Street store. This expansion is dedicated entirely to house and display Crocs Footwear.
We received a shipment of over 5000 pair this month, and in the picture to the left you can see that they sure do take up a lot of space.
We were able to sort out and display the shoes within a matter of days in our new Crocs room.
So impressive that the Denver Post interviewed our owner, Richard Polk, about the expansion, and the growing Crocs Phenomenon.
"We sell more Crocs by lunch than some of the other lines we carry sell all year," Polk said Monday.
Our first customer:

Seven-year-old Jana Wirth, on vacation from Altstetten, Switzerland, browses a veritable rainbow of Crocs at the newly expanded Pedestrian Shop in Boulder. Last month the store sold 4,000 pairs of the trendy shoes. (Post / Glenn Asakawa)
