The Rieker Shoe Company of Tuttlingen Germany has donated 276 pairs of new sample shoes to the Pedestrian Shops annual shoe drive, a $ 25,000 retail value. The Pedestrian’s Thanksgiving shoe drive continues through December 9th. Customers can bring in a slightly used pair of shoes to receive a 10% discount on any new pair of footwear in the store, even shoes already on sale. The used shoes will be donated to the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, First Presbyterian’s Deacon’s Closet and other local assistance organizations.

This is the 12th annual Thanksgiving shoe drive run by the Pedestrian Shops. The Pedestrian Shops is a locally owned retailer with two Boulder locations: one at 1425 Pearl Street Mall and another in the Village Shopping Center between Arapahoe and Canyon.
